Boy Scouts to hold Food Drive for Neighbor to Neighbor

The Greenwich Council, BSA, announced that CT State Representative Fred Camillo (District 151) will again serve as Honorary Chair of the Council’s annual “Scouting for Food” drive on Saturday, March 5, from 9 to 11:30 a.m. Greenwich Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts will participate in the “Scouting for Food” drive by collecting food from local residents to benefit Neighbor to Neighbor. read more...

Nonprofit Looking For Unsung Hometown Veterans

If you know an unsung veteran, Stand For The Troops (SFTT) would like to hear from you. The Fairfield County-based nonprofit nonpartisan organization is accepting nominations of area veterans to be recognized at its 2016 Warriors Ball on April 16. SFTT has been supporting the troops with more than lip service for 18 years. It dedicates its resources to safeguarding the physical, mental and emotional well-being of America’s serving and returning frontline troops.
