New Lebanon’s Fifth Graders to Take Part in ‘Harvestfest’

On Monday, Oct. 16 from 12 to 2:30 p.m. Geoff Lazlo, Executive Chef of Mill Street Bar & Table will host New Lebanon School fifth graders and teachers at their first “Harvestfest.” Students will harvest the last of the season’s fresh vegetables, clean up the garden and compost the remains of the season’s produce. Greenwich Community Gardens’ ‘Big Tomato’ Fundraiser

This is the non-profit’s only fundraising event of the year, the Big Tomato helps them make healthy food accessible to all. Guests will mix and mingle in a garden party-like atmosphere while enjoying great food prepared by Chef Geoff Lazlo, plus wines, beer, and their signature cocktail, the “Tomato Crush.” The evening will include live music and a drawing with unlimited opportunities to win a selection of great items. read more...
