School of Rock announces the grand opening of its newest school in the Greenwich. The event will take place on Sunday, Sept. 8 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 1154 East Putnam Ave. in Riverside. It will be an evening filled with a guitar raffle, a t-shirt and hat giveaway, and lesson previews.
School of Rock Greenwich is owned and operated by Steve Kennedy. In 2010, Kennedy opened his first School of Rock location in Fairfield, CT. Over the years, he’s opened and acquired three more locations – one more in Connecticut and two in New York. After selling all four locations a year and a half ago, he decided it was time to go back to School of Rock and open the Greenwich location to continue his passion for music, specifically rock n’ roll.
School of Rock provides students of all ages guitar lessons, singing lessons, drum lessons and piano lessons.
