Cobber North: Great Food on the Greens

Since 2011, the Greenwich community has gone to Caren's Cos Cobber at 31 E. Putnam Ave. for great food and even greater company. Now, residents can find the same delicious eats and familiar friends on the grounds of the picturesque Griffith E. Harris golf course, at the Cos Cobber North location on 1323 King St.

Camillo’s Corner: Updates From Town Hall

Every other week, the Greenwich Sentinel will bring you exclusive updates on happenings around Town Hall from First Selectman Fred Camillo. This week, Camillo discusses an update on COVID-19 contact tracing and fall preparedness, his storm response task force, the search for a new assistant fire chief, and a recent fire in nearby Port Chester.

Music Under the Stars at the Greenwich Historical Society

While this summer has been anything but normal, the Greenwich Historical Society has still found a way for the community to safely enjoy some good music under the stars, with its Music on the Great Lawn Series, presented by the First Bank of Greenwich. The Historical Society has held three concerts so far -- one on July 30, Aug. 26 and Sept. 3. The next concert will be held on Sept. 17.

Gardenvale edges out Los Violines 14-12 in East Coast Open playoffs

Gardenvale, the fierce and formidable 20-goal Long Island-based polo team, seems to be as determined as ever to make its mark as a forerunner in the 2020 East Coast Open, dashing past Los Violines, the Teflon-tough Westchester County-based contingent with a 14-12 win in the first round playoffs of this celebrated annual U.S. high-goal tournament last Sunday.
