On Sunday, April 6, the community is invited to gather at the Arch Street Teen Center for the 3rd annual Hope Day, a powerful event dedicated to smashing the stigma around mental health challenges. Hosted from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM, Hope Day is a free, family-friendly celebration featuring live performances, interactive wellness activities, arts and crafts, resource tables, food, raffles, and more.
Organized in partnership with The Yellow Tulip Project, Hope Day is a special moment to recognize the power of hope and healing, coinciding with the blooming of the Hope Gardens—planted last fall as a symbol of resilience and mental health awareness. These gardens serve as a living testament to the strength of individuals and communities in overcoming challenges and fostering open conversations about mental well-being.
The event’s schedule includes inspiring performances from Greenwich A Cappella, Maddie Van Der Weijden, the Greenwich High School Cheer Team, and the Riverside Chorus. Resource tables with interactive activities focusing on positive coping strategies to reduce stress will be available throughout the event.
“This event is about coming together as a community to support one another and to remind everyone that hope is real, help is available, and no one is alone in their struggles,” said Corina Restrepo, Greenwich Together.
Whether you are a youth, teen, parent, or advocate, Hope Day offers a meaningful space to connect, learn, and celebrate the importance of mental health.
Join us on April 6 at the Arch Street Teen Center, 100 Arch St., Greenwich, CT for an afternoon of hope, connection, and inspiration.
