Last Saturday was one for the books thousands of people gathered at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park amidst lapses of rainy afternoon weather to partake in this year’s annual Greenwich Town Party that was headlined by Billy Joel, the legendary Long Island-based Grammy singer, pianist, composer and songwriter who electrified the crowd in his signature star manner.

The Greenscape Project

The Greenscape Task Force, a group of people dedicated to keeping Greenwich green has been working together to make Route 1 a tree-lined boulevard. They plan to plant roughly 500 trees along the route. The task force also states that there will be more projects like this to come.
