The Junior League of Greenwich hosted its Annual Clean-Up Day at the Byram Park & Beach.

The Junior League of Greenwich (JLG) hosted its 7th Annual Clean-Up Day at the Byram Park & Beach on Saturday, April 27 from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. JLG’s Done in a Day committee organized its Annual Spring Cleanup to prepare Byram Pool & Park just in time for upcoming summer activities.

The JLG partnered with the Greenwich Department of Parks & Recreation and Greenwich Green & Clean to execute the cleanup. Additionally, Byram Neighborhood Association helped recruit additional volunteers within the community. Volunteers of all ages planted flowers, weeded garden beds, and removed trash and debris from Byram Park & Beach.

Despite the chilly morning weather, volunteers cleaned and pruned Byram Pool & Park so families and neighbors can enjoy the facilities during the summer. Following the cleanup, all volunteers were treated to a hotdog barbecue lunch kindly hosted by the Byram Shore Club. The 7th Annual JLG Spring Cleanup was a success thanks to its hard working volunteers and community partners.
