Splash Car Wash Honors Veterans with Free Car Washes

On Friday, Nov. 11, veterans will receive a free carwash at all Splash Car Wash locations.

For over twenty years, Splash has been honoring and paying thanks to those who have served and sacrificed for our country with free car washes.

Splash is a proud, decade-long, member of Grace for Vets. Grace for Vets is a carwash organization that is focused on honoring veterans and service personnel.

Mike Mountz, an operator from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, founded Grace for Vets. After recent retirement, Mountz passed the honorable torch to friend and Splash’s CEO, Mark Curtis.

Last Veterans Day, Grace for Vets gave over 270,000 free car washes to veterans. This year, the organization anticipates over 300,000 car washes.

In order to receive a free car wash, all veterans should let a Splash employee know they are either a veteran or in the armed forces. A list of all Connecticut carwash participants can be found on graceforvets.org.

“We enjoy this day at Splash so much as we see vets from World War II, all the way to service men and women who are currently serving our country. Many share their stories and all share their gratitude from this small recognition we give them,” says Curtis.

This Friday, Splash hopes to give over 1,000 free washes away to those who have or are serving our country.
