Greenwich Girls Golf Has Little Trouble With Tigers

The Greenwich High School girls golf team moved to 11-1 overall with a victory over Ridgefield High School Tuesday afternoon at the Griffith E. Harris Golf Course.

On the par 37 at The Griff, Big Red finished with a score of 174, while Ridgefield took home a score of 224.

Leading the way for Greenwich was Catherine McEvoy, who finished a 1-under par 36 on the day. Not to be done was teammate Ashley Feighery, who took home a career best and ended the day 2-over par 39.

Tess Lamhaouar grabbed a 8-over par 45 and Jane Giuliani rounded out the scoring for the Lady Cardinals with a 54 on the day.

For RHS, Alyssa Maiolo carded a 51, while teammate Maya Christianson had a 54. Caroline Bunt was one shot away from Christianson.

With the win, Big Red improved to 11-1 overall and 6-1 in the FCIAC Western Division. The Tigers fell to 1-10 overall in the loss.
