Experience what life was like in Greenwich during the Revolutionary War and celebrate General Putnam’s Historic Ride at Putnam Cottage/Knapp’s Tavern on Sunday, Feb. 28 from 1 to 3 p.m.
There will be a military encampment, tactical exercises, colonial life demonstrations, tours of the cottage, and much more. Putnam Cottage/Knapp’s Tavern is located at 243 East Putnam Avenue. Admission is $5 per person. All proceeds assist in the preservation of the cottage. Sponsored by the Putnam Hill Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution.
