
After a successful Saturday, the Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating Team will keep the good times rolling Sunday at the Terry Conners Ice Rink in Stamford, competing in the Synchronized Skating Open.
The Open is the SCSS kickoff event for the season. Each team on the Southern Connecticut Synchronized Skating Team, the Shadows, Shimmers, and Sprites, will compete at various times this weekend.
The Sprites, a basic skills level two team, competed Saturday night. Starting at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, the Shadows, an open juvenile level team will compete, At noon, the Shimmers, a pre-juvenile level squad, will take to the ice.
The team is comprised of 42 skaters from Stamford, Greenwich, Darien, Westport, Norwalk and White Plains.
