YMCA CEO Ed Philipp to Leave in August

The YMCA of Greenwich announced on Friday that CEO Ed Phllipp will be leaving the organization in August.

Philipp spent three years as CEO of the Greenwich Y. Board President Sandy Waters reports Philipp helped grow funds for families in need from $100,000 in 2012 to more than $400,000 in 2014.

“I am proud of the achievements we have made together here, and am looking forward to using that experience to benefit the overall YMCA movement in the months and years to come,” Philipp said.

Philipp joined the Greenwich YMCA after spending many years as Chief Operating Officer of the Rye YMCA in Rye, New York. YMCA officials said he will be pursuing other endeavors, but the details of those endeavors have not been released.
