Recycled & Refashioned: The Art of Ruby Silvious

A Virtual Q and A with artist Ruby Silvious about her history, her working methods and her artwork, which will appeal to artists as well as art lovers. Silvious has just completed her successful exhibition with the Albany Institute of History and Art. This virtual lecture will be conducted by professor Beth S. Gersh-Nesic.

Beth S. Gersh-Nesic is an art historian and the director of the New York Arts Exchange, an arts education service which offers tours, lectures and workshops in various venues, including museums, galleries, artists’ studios and arts organizations. She currently teaches art history at Purchase College. Her specialty is 19th and 20th century modern art and contemporary art.

This virtual event is part of the Greenwich Arts Council Selective Space Series.
