The Garden Education Center of Greenwich (GEC) welcomed Niall McMorrow, as its new Executive Director. Niall, a resident of New Canaan, comes to GEC with broad experience in both the non-profit and for-profit sectors. As a past volunteer at The Horticultural Society of New York and The New York Botanical Garden, and a former Director of Horticulture at Bartlett Arboretum and Gardens in Stamford, Niall has been involved in a myriad of horticultural activities since 2007, reflecting his deep passion for all things related to plants and design. Prior to this, Niall had a 25-year career in international banking, most recently as a Managing Director at ING Bank in New York.
