A concerned citizen noticed some suspicious activity near a mailbox and contacted the police.
Our officers flooded the area and apprehended several suspects engaged in a MASSIVE mail theft scheme by a means of “mailbox fishing.”
We coordinated with the U.S. Postal Inspection Service who’s primary mission is fighting criminals who attack the nation’s postal system for follow up. These suspects will likely to be facing federal charges in the future.
