Air Quality Alert Issued for Area

More hot weather is upon Greenwich. The National Weather Service has issued an air quality alert effective until 11 p.m. tonight.

According to the NWS, “an air quality action day means that ground level ozone within the region may approach or exceed unhealthy standards.”

The NWS is forecasting temperatures to reach almost 90 degrees in the area through Monday. Below is a detailed forecast provided by the NWS.
