Greenwich Hospital to Offer ‘Coping Mindfully With Cancer’

The Center for Behavioral and Nutritional Health at Greenwich Hospital will offer “Coping Mindfully With Cancer,” a four-week mindfulness training course beginning Oct. 25 at the Smilow Cancer Hospital Greenwich Hospital Campus, 77 Lafayette Pl., radiation oncology suite.

A psychologist will lead the group training on Thursdays, Oct. 25 and Nov. 1, 8 and 15 from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Participants will learn Mindfullness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), a clinically effective program to reduce fatigue, pain and anxiety, as well as improve overall well-being for patients living with cancer.

This is a billed service provided by a clinical psychologist. Most insurance accepted. To register, please call 203-863-2939.
