One Greenwich woman received a new set of wheels on Thursday. The Needs Clearing House gave Veronica Correa a 2000 Ford Taurus and a $100 gas gift card.

Correa is a single mother working in Greenwich, and this car will enable her to keep her job.

“Rents are so high in Greenwich, the car will enable Veronica to find an affordable apartment for her family and keep her job” said Joe Kaliko, Co-President of the NCH.

The car was donated to NCH by John and Jeanine Giddings, and Chris Canavan of Greenwich Automotive donated about $1,000 in parts and labor so it runs smooth for Correa.
