The Garden Education Center will host an exclusive sneak preview of Five Seasons: The Gardens of Piet Oudolf, Monday, April 9 at 7 p.m., in the Cole Auditorium at Greenwich Library.
Oudolf is the inspirational Dutch garden designer and plantsman who has designed public and private gardens in the United States and Europe, among them: The Highline, The Battery, and the Seasonal Walk at the NYBG in New York City and the Lurie Garden in Chicago. He takes a painterly and naturalistic approach to gardening and celebrates plants in all of their seasons – choosing plants not just for their flowers, but also for their leaves, seed heads, and structure.
Advanced tickets are $20 for member and $25 for non-members, ($25, day of and at the door). For tickets, visit gecgreenwich.org
