Distracted driving, and texting while driving specifically, has become a widespread problem throughout the country.
During the month of April, the Greenwich Police Department, along with other departments in Connecticut, are teaming up with the Connecticut Department of Transportation during the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration’s (NHTSA’s) National Distracted Driving Awareness month.
Units will be out in force to crack down on distracted drivers as part of the U Drive. U Text. U Pay campaign.
