
Audubon Greenwich will host “Pollinator Potluck – Protecting the Sound: From Your Backyard to the Shore and Beyond,” on Wednesday, Jan. 24 fro 6 to 8 p.m.; featuring: Bill Lucey (Soundkeeper, Save the Sound), Denise Savageau and Aleksandra Moch (Greenwich Conservation Commission).
Join them for cocktails, conversation, and a discussion about water quality monitoring and advocacy on Long Island Sound followed by a presentation on how the Town of Greenwich helps to protect our water. Attendees are encouraged to contribute appetizers or beverages to share. Desserts provided by Happiness Is… Catering and organic wine tasting provided by The Study Fine Wines & Spirits.
This free event is presented by the Greenwich Garden Club, Green Fingers Garden Club and Hortulus Conservation Committees along with Audubon Greenwich, Greenwich Land Trust and North Street Pharmacy.
A cocktail hour will take place from 6 to 7 p.m., and the presentation from 7 to 7:30 p.m. Audubon Greenwich is located at 613 Riversville Rd.
