

Thomas John Putrino passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 22 at White Plains Hospital after fighting a courageous battle with cancer. He was 77 years old.
Tom was born in Greenwich to Mary and John Putrino on Dec. 12, 1939. In his early years in Greenwich, he made a name for himself dominating his competition on the golf course and the softball field.
Tom always took pride in everything he did, from helping residents at Newport Towers with home repairs to simply picking out just the right fruits and vegetables at the market. Tom was loved by many for his unique sense of humor and his ability to always make his friends and family laugh. He was a kind and selfless man who will truly be missed.
He is survived by his children, T.J. Putrino (Kim), Kim Johnston (Scott), Kari Cohen (Matt), and Tamara Russo (Chris); his grandchildren, Nathan, Christopher, Marisa and Samantha; his dear sister, Barbara Belicka; and his longtime girlfriend, Doreen Woodrum. He is survived as well by many nieces, nephews and close friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, John.
Funeral Service were held on Monday morning at the First Lutheran Church in Greenwich. Arrangements were by Coxe and Graziano Funeral Home, 134 Hamilton Ave., Greenwich. Committal was private.
