

The Greenwich High School boys lacrosse team made a third quarter comeback against Ridgefield High School in the CIAC class L semifinals held at Brien McMahon’s Jack Casagrande Field.
Scoring twice in the third quarter, Big Red knotted the game at 5-5 heading into the final frame. However it was the Tigers that scored the go-ahead goal in the fourth quarter to upend the Cardinals 6-5 Wednesday afternoon.
For Big Red, Will Perry led the way with a hat trick, while Decker Curran and Scooter Harrington each added one goal. In net, Tommy Rogan finished the game with five saves. The Tigers were led by Ryan Dunn, who finished with three goals. Simon Mathias added two goals.
With the loss, Greenwich finished the season with a 16-5 record overall. Ridgefield, which will play Darien in the class L title game, upped its overall record to 17-5.
