Nonprofit organizations are constantly lending a hand to those in need, but who is there to reach out to when the organization itself is in need? Needs Clearing House (NCH) is a nonprofit organization whose mission is to help other local charities meet their needs, whatever those may be. On June 9th, the NCH is awarding a $1,000 donation to Kids in Crisis to help offset the organization’s anticipated $250,000 budget short for the next fiscal year.
The donation will be presented at Kids in Crisis in Cos Cob, and NCH is hoping that this initial contribution will get the ball rolling for others to pitch in to help Kids in Crisis continue their important work with children, teens and families throughout Fairfield County.
