
Word & Song is set to present ‘One Life One Love,’ a candlelit concert featuring internationally acclaimed pianist Sue Song and reader Douglas D. Dewey. This event will take place on Thursday, July 11, at St. Mary Church in Greenwich, beginning at 7 PM.
Sue Song, who hails from Seoul, Korea, and relocated to the United States at fourteen, brings a diverse range of musical accomplishments to the concert. Her journey includes numerous state and international competition victories, a Bachelor of Music from Oberlin Conservatory, and further studies at the Centre Conservatoire in Paris and the Franz Liszt Academy of Music in Budapest. She has performed at major concert halls worldwide, including Carnegie Hall.
Joining Song is Douglas D. Dewey, co-founder of the mission-driven cloud contact center Mpathic and a public speaker.
The evening’s program will feature a blend of music and literature, with musical pieces by Chopin, Debussy, Bach, and Morricone, complemented by readings from Scripture, Shakespeare, Walter J. Ciszek, among others.
Tickets for ‘One Life One Love’ are available with a free-will donation. All proceeds will support future programs in music, art, architecture, and literature.
