YMCA, Greenwich Road Runners hosting Holiday Fun Run

For the first time, the YMCA of Greenwich is sponsoring the Greenwich Road Runners’ annual Holiday Fun Run at Tod’s Point on Sunday, December 3. The Holiday 1-Mile Fun Run will begin at 10:00AM and will cost $15 for entry. The Holiday 5K Fun Run will begin at 10:30AM and will cost $35 for entry.

Proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the YMCA of Greenwich’s commitment to providing affordable youth, family, and senior programming that serves diverse needs and fosters personal growth for all.

Participants are encouraged to wear their favorite Santa outfit, ugly sweater, or holiday-themed gear. There will be “holiday spirit” awards and prizes.

There will also be a chance to win 2 tickets to the Greenwich Town Party in the Race Day Raffle.

The event will start near the flag pole across from the Main concession at Greenwich Point/Tod’s Point. The level 5K course loops around Greenwich Point.

Timed results posted by Super Race Systems and Chronotrack.

Awards will be presented for:
• First, second, and third race finishers, Women and Men.
• Best Holiday Ugly sweater, first, second, and third.
• Best Holiday costumes, first, second and third.
