Eversource to Conduct Aerial Survey in Greenwich

Eversource Energy has announced that there will be an aerial patrol of transmission lines on Thursday, June 22.

The flyover will allow for an aerial patrol of vegetation on transmission lines throughout the Town as part of Eversource’s Transmission Vegetation Management program. Residents who see the flyovers should not be alarmed as it is part of regular work done by Eversource.

The work will be done between 8 a.m. and 3 p.m. on June 22, weather permitting and will also be taking place in Stamford, Norwalk, Fairfield, Bridgeport, Easton, Milford, Stratford, Trumbull, Weston, Wilson and Westport. The aircraft being used will either be a blue with silver stripe Bell Jet Ranger with a tag of N1431W or a blue and white Bell Jet Ranger with a tag of N411DD
