American woodcocks are the harbingers of spring, but face decline due to habitat loss. Creating and maintaining the best possible habitat for birds like the American woodcock is one of the goals we are constantly trying to achieve at the Greenwich Audubon Center. There are a multitude of things you can do at home to help birds, like American woodcocks, this season.
