Yesterday marked one week since Vice President Kamala Harris told reporters the border was secure. Meanwhile over the weekend a stash house for illegal immigrants was shut down in Laredo and countless drug seizures occurred, including deadly fentanyl and 450 pounds of meth. This follows just a few weeks ago when 187 pounds of the lethal drug fentanyl, worth an estimated $4.3 million, (enough to kill 42,410,887 Americans) was seized by Border Patrol. Just two milligrams of fentanyl is considered a lethal dose, highlighting how dangerous and deadly this drug is to Americans.
At a time when 8,000 immigrants are encountered every day, and drugs including 10,600 pounds of fentanyl and 150,000 pounds of meth have been discovered at the border, political outsider and U.S. Senate candidate Leora Levy is calling for stronger border protections.
