Impact Fairfield County (Impact FFC) held its first Impactful Conversation of the 2021/2022 grant year on the topic of “Storytelling for Advocacy – How to Advocate for Causes Through Storytelling,” in partnership with Everwell in Darien.
Impact FFC members and guests gathered for the in-person workshop at Everwell, led by Professional Storytelling Coach Casey Donahue. Donahue engaged her audience in a dynamic evening of connection, learning and growth through interactive dialogue and story creation, all with the purpose of becoming better advocates for causes through the art of storytelling. In a word, members left the workshop feeling “challenged,” “inspired,” “hopeful,” “grateful,” “connected,” and “impactful.”
Impact FFC is also pleased to announce its fall kickoff, taking place November 17, 2021 at the Stamford Nature Center. This event, specifically for Impact FFC members and all women who are interested in membership, will be an exciting morning to connect with other philanthropic women and hear from last year’s grant winners about the implementation of their $100,000 Impact grants.
