Lt. John Slusarz of the Greenwich Police Department reported that a blue 2018 Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken from a residence on Ridgebrook Road, which is off of North Maple, July 8 into July 9 in the middle of the night. The car was unlocked and a set of keys were inside.
This should serve as another strong reminder to lock your cars and to take their keys and belongings with them. Greenwich Police have repeatedly made the case that Greenwich car owners lock their vehicles.
The car was recovered on July 11 in another town in Connecticut. The case remains under investigation.
