A water main break on Monday morning in Greenwich has partially collapsed a road and left approximately 25 residents without water.

According to the Greenwich Dispatch Center twitter account, the break was first reported around 6 a.m. on Anderson Road between Elm Street and Mallard Drive. Motorists were advised to avoid the area, and the Greenwich Fire Department alerted Aquarion Water Company.

Aquarion says water restoration should be completed Monday between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m.

Stay tuned as more information becomes available.
