On Sunday, March 28, 2021, Frank Andrew Kordas, Jr. of Milford, CT (formerly of Cos Cob, CT) passed away at home surrounded by family, after a brief battle with cancer at the age of 67.

Frank was born on Feb. 12, 1954 in Greenwich, CT to Frank and Julia (Myder) Kordas who predeceased him. He graduated from Greenwich High School in 1972 where he played Varsity Baseball as pitcher and first baseman.

He is survived by his daughters Jessica and Chelsea Kordas, two grandchildren Amilia and Ethan Zabrecky, his siblings Richard (Patricia) Kordas, Robert (Joyce) Kordas, Karol Coppola, David (Sherry) Kordas, and many nieces and nephews. Frank was a dedicated employee at
Connecticut Natural Gas for 37 years until his retirement in October of 2018. He was a member of the 380 Teamsters AFLCIO Local Union. Upon his retirement he moved to his “little slice of Heaven” in Milford, CT where he was able to really explore his photography hobby from his patio overlooking the Housatonic River. He spent many days doing what he loved, relaxing along the river with a fishing pole in hand and tending to his now pint-sized
garden.

A private family Celebration of Life will be held at a future date.

Donations can be made to the Smilow Cancer Center.
