Bear Hunt

Greenwich Police want to see if we can unite neighborhoods amid the coronavirus crisis. We all are Staying Safe and Staying Home. Outside walks, while practicing proper social distancing, is good for everyone, especially our children. Let’s take a tip from other towns around the country and start a “Bear Hunt.”

Across the United States, neighborhoods are taking a page from Michale Rosens’ 1989 children’s book; We’re Going on a Bear Hunt. The idea is simple; residents place teddy bears or other stuffed animals in the windows of their homes. A parent takes the kids out for a stroll and has a bear in the window scavenger hunt.

Just because we are all shuttered away, doesn’t mean we can’t have fun. What do you say, Greenwich, are you interested? Take a look at some of our stuffed friends looking out from the front lobby windows!
