Researching Italian-American Families Genealogy Program

records-research-genealogy

Greenwich Genealogy teacher Janeen Bjork will present research case studies of local Italian-American families, and the techniques she used to trace the families from Cos Cob, Greenwich and Stamford, back to Italy, on Saturday, Nov. 16, 10:30 a.m. at Cos Cob Library, 5 Sinawoy Rd.

Vital records for Connecticut and Italy are stored in the towns where the event took place. Finding the records is dependent on knowing the town. The methodology and the available resources for finding the town will be presented.

The event is free and open to the public. Light refreshments will be served. Sponsored by the Friends of the Cos Cob Library
