The Greenwich Veterans Council invites members of the public to attend a remembrance ceremony to mark the 75th anniversary of D-Day on Thursday, June 6.
The service will take place at 6 p.m. in front of Greenwich Town Hall, 101 Field Point Rd.
Scheduled participants include the Greenwich American Legion Post #29, the Byram Veterans Association, the Greenwich Police Department Honor Guard and Greenwich resident William Fullilove, a veteran of the British Royal Navy who participated in the D-Day invasion.
In the event of inclement weather, the program will be held in the Town Hall Meeting Room.
