Isabella Garrucho Fine Art announces the new Patrick Bidaux exhibit. Patrick Bidaux was born in Burgundy France in 1969. At the age of 17 Patrick decided to follow his passion for art and entered Chalon-sur-Saone, a school where he found his love studying drawing. He then continued his studies at Beaux Arts in Beaune and Besancon where he received his degree in fine arts. After graduating in 1991, Patrick started his fine arts career as a Muralist where he began work on monumental commissions for several corporations, public institutions and private individuals.
In 1996 Patrick Bidaux became a professor and taught at Beaune and Maco. Today he is still a professor of painting and drawing in many such brilliant schools.
In 2003, Patrick discovered Greenwich through his mentors and friends, Theresa Carroll and Thomas Henkelmann of The Homestead Inn. The Homestead Restaurant houses a large mural as part of their permanent art collection with the theme of French culinary food and Franck background scenes. This beautiful friendship will allow Patrick Bidaux to return regularly to his “second family of heart.”
Patrick’s art does not only challenge us in an emotional register, but also on that of his technique which he mastered with strength due to a long classical apprenticeship.
During his career, he opened up to multiple expressions, looking for new experiences. He is heir to great French painters such as Monet, Degas, Bonnard and Caillebotte.
