USE (Utilize Senior Energy) recently celebrated the holiday season with a gathering and luncheon for volunteers and board members.
USE is a no fee, non-profit, employment referral service established in 1978. The organization matches adults ages 50 plus seeking work with businesses and households who are looking to hire. A wide variety of areas are covered, ranging from administrative assistants and bookkeepers to handymen and housekeepers.
USE is staffed entirely by volunteers and serves Greenwich, Stamford, and Port Chester/Rye Brook. The office is located at 299 Greenwich Ave. (Greenwich Senior Center) and is open from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
