Antonio Ambrosecchia, 94, of Greenwich and Port Chester, N.Y. passed away peacefully on Monday, Aug. 20, 2018. Born Jan. 16, 1924 in Morra de Sanctis, Italy to Pasquale and Filomena Ambrosecchia; Antonio was the second of three brothers. He farmed the land in Italy and lived in France and Switzerland before immigrating to the United States in 1976 with his wife Teresa, who predeceased him in 1983. Antonio was also predeceased by his second wife Maria in 2014.
He is survived by his loving children Filomena Buscetto (Guido, deceased), Gerarda Capozza (Michael, deceased) and Concetta Sperduto (Giuseppe); his seven cherished grandchildren; ten dear great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren. His family would like to thank Dr. Steven Glasser for the wonderful care he provided Antonio through the years. Family and friends gathered Aug. 24. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Aug. 25 at St. Roch’s Church, followed by entombment at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
