The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that internationally renowned jazz banjoist and vocalist, Cynthia Sayer, will be performing with her band at Roger Sherman Baldwin Park Wednesday, Aug. 15 from 7:15 to 8:45 p.m. The rain date is Aug. 16.
Sayer is celebrated as one of the top four-string jazz banjoists in the world today: soulful, edgy, both contemporary and classic. Get ready for a family-friendly evening of fun, eclectic music, based on 1920s and 30s hot jazz.
