The Department of Parks and Recreation will host a Family Movie Night on Monday, July 23. They will screen Up starting at approximately 8 p.m., outdoors at the Bendheim Western Greenwich Civic Center, weather permitting. In case of rain, the movie will be shown in the gym.

Carl Fredricksen, a 78-year-old balloon salesman, is about to fulfill a lifelong dream. Tying thousands of balloons to his house, he flies away to the South American wilderness. But curmudgeonly Carl’s worst nightmare comes true when he discovers a little boy named Russell is a stowaway aboard the balloon-powered house.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a picnic dinner (no barbecues) and a blanket or lawn chairs, and enjoy a fun night out with the family.
