The Connecticut League for Nursing (CLN) celebrated its 65 years of serving nursing and nurse education within the state of Connecticut.

To mark this milestone, CLN hosted a once-in-a-lifetime event and recognized the contributions of 65 nurses over the age of 65 who have left a lasting impact on nursing in Connecticut and beyond.

Stephanie Paulmeno, of Greenwich, was one of the nurses recognized. She is affiliated with the CT Nurses’ Association and Global Health Systems Consultants, LLC during her practice in Connecticut.

Paulmeno was the 38th out of 65 nurses honored in the CLN Campaign titled, “65 Over 65- Leaving Your Nursing Legacy in Connecticut.” The Campaign was launched in March 2017 and for the next 64 weeks, CLN highlighted one nurse each week through email, social media and the monthly CLN News Brief.

The keynote speaker for this Celebration was Dr. Alicia Georges, President of the National Board of Directors for AARP.
