The First Presbyterian Church of Greenwich (FPCG) will hold a Mozart Requiem Concert on Good Friday, March 30 at 7 p.m., in the Sanctuary.
A Requiem, also known as Mass for the Dead, is offered for the repose of the soul. Mozart’s Requiem Mass in D minor was composed in 1791, the same year as his death. This appropriately somber, powerful, and reflective work will be performed by the church’s Chancel Choir, chamber orchestra and organ under the direction of Randall Atcheson, Minister of Music.
