The New York City cabaret scene comes to First Congregational Church on Saturday, Nov. 4 at 10 p.m., when First Music & Arts and Triangle Community Center present an evening of song and humor with Delighted Tobehere and Vodka Stinger. The two divas will conduct a stroll down memory lane, including some of the great tunes from the American songbook, with accompaniment by Craig Scott Symons, piano, Tod Hedrick, bass, and Charles Kiger, drums.

“These two fantastic entertainers are stars of the drag queen cabaret circuit, veterans of legendary venues like Feinstein’s/54 Below,” said Craig Symons, Director of First Music & Arts. “This will be an all-too-rare treat for our Greenwich-area audience. We are very pleased to be able to co-sponsor this event with Triangle Community Center, which has been nurturing growth and connection within the LGBTQ community in Fairfield County for over 25 years.”

Delighted Tobehere debuted on NBC’s America’s Got Talent to rave reviews in 2001, and has been named as one of the funniest drag queens in America by the Huffington Post. Tobehere has combined celebrity illusion, vocal impressions, live vocals, lip sync, comedy, intelligence, and quick wit to wow audiences in her solo cabaret show, “High Heels and Low Notes,” at 54 Below.

Vodka Stinger entered the nightclub circuit four years ago with “Lower Your Expectations,” her sell-out hit at 54 Below, where she has since become a regular.

Stinger has also starred Off-Broadway in Christmas With The Crawfords and at The Old Globe Theater in San Diego in Scott Ellis’s Comedy Of Errors.

The show takes place in the Auditorium, 108 Sound Beach Ave., and will feature cabaret seating for eight at round tables, with light snacks and a full bar. Tickets are available exclusively on the First Church website, fccog.org
