The League of Women Voters of Greenwich (LWVG) recently sent delegates Caroline Adkins and Kat Burgweger to the League of Women Voters of Connecticut’s Annual Convention, held this year on June 17 in North Haven.
League chapters (28 in Connecticut) elect separate, local Boards. The League, founded in 1920, accepts as members men and women without regard to political affiliation who are interested in strengthening citizenship in an issue-based, non-partisan manner (the LWV does not support or oppose political candidates). The League is active in all 50 states.
