The Department of Parks and Recreation announces that the Bob Button Orchestra will perform at Binney Park on Wednesday, June 28, from 7:15 to 8:45 pm. The rain date for this concert is Thursday, June 29.

This popular 12-piece orchestra will present a program of big band classics as originally recorded by the famous bands of the Swing Era. Gail Clear is the featured vocalist.

A portable dance floor will be installed in front of the bandstand for those who would like to dance while listening.

This is the first Parks & Recreation Wednesday Night Concert of the summer season. Other upcoming Wednesday Night Concerts will be held in Roger Sherman Baldwin Park, and will feature Billy and the Showmen playing R & B on July 12, and Squeaky Clean playing 50’s Classic Rock and Roll.

Concerts are free. For more information please visit greenwichct.org, or call the Recreation Office at 203-618-7649. For rain postponement, call 203-861-6100 after 4 p.m. the day of the concert.
