Greenwich Community Gardens presents “The Edible Summer Garden,” Saturday, June 10 from 10 to 11:30 a.m., at Armstrong Court Community Gardens on Hamilton Avenue.

Community Gardens’ founder and Advanced Master Gardener, Patty Sechi, will guide attendees “down the garden path” to their own bountiful summer vegetable garden. Sechi will go over garden basics for those who missed the spring class and talk about what and how to plant as warm weather approaches. She’ll also cover bugs, weeds to look out for, and succession and companion planting. Mindful, organic and water-conscious gardening practices will be discussed, as well as a quick primer on composting. Class includes Q&A and a tour of the garden.

There is a $10 suggested donation. To reserve a space, please email info@greenwichcommunitygardens.org

The rain date is Sunday, June 11, 1:30 to 3 p.m. for more information, visit greenwichcommunitygardens.org
