Western Middle School presents Beauty and the Beast, JR., a musical adaptation of the award-winning animated film and stage play. The public is invited to be swept away by this beloved romantic tale during performances on March 31 and April 1.
The show comes to life with a cast of 65, beautiful sets, costumes and a stunning, Tony-nominated score including Be Our Guest, Gaston, Human Again, Home and the classic title song, Beauty and the Beast.
As Producer/Director Johanna Kolar says, “We are so proud of all the talent being brought to bear for this wonderful show. And, it is a special bonus that the musical’s message of inner beauty and redemption is enjoying such a prominent place in the cultural conversation right now.”
The show will take place Friday, March 31 at 7 p.m., and Saturday, April 1 at 2 and 7 p.m., at Western Middle School, 1 Western Junior Highway. Tickets are $10 for PM performances and $8 for matinee.
