Greenwich World Hunger Celebrates 40 Years

Greenwich World Hunger Association (GWHA) is celebrating 40 years of funding projects to alleviate hunger all over the world. The Social Justice Committee of St. Catherine of Siena Church is honoring GWHA on Thursday, Nov. 17 at its annual “Dinner with a Cause.”

The public is invited to come for a light supper and learn about the work of this unique organization founded in Greenwich in 1976. Dinner is at 6:30 p.m. with presentation by Keith Heard, President of GWHA, from 7:15 to 8:30 p.m. in the Lucey Parish Hall, 4 Riverside Ave., below the church.
