The Junior League of Greenwich announced its Children’s Concert Fund-raiser, “Beauty and the Beast,” on Saturday, Oct. 22 at the Greenwich Country Day School Performing Arts Center. Performed by Plaza Theatrical Productions, there are two shows – 11 a.m. and 3 p.m.
“Beauty and the Beast” is the classic story of Belle, a French girl who dreams of more than her provincial life, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped in a spell placed by an enchantress.
There are three categories of seating – VIP, Orchestra and Balcony. VIP includes a Meet & Greet, pictures with the cast after the show, and premium seating. Families can also donate a ticket to a child who might not otherwise be able to see live theatre. Advanced ticket purchase online only, and seating is limited.
Funds raised from the concert go directly toward supporting impactful community projects that are identified, designed and implemented by the Junior League of Greenwich.
